Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the lost 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the were GN Store Nord (CSE:), which rose 2.52% or 4.40 points to trade at 179.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:) added 2.10% or 7.20 points to end at 349.70 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) was up 1.98% or 3.82 points to 196.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:), which fell 3.93% or 16.50 points to trade at 403.00 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:) declined 0.94% or 1.35 points to end at 142.80 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) was down 0.90% or 8.10 points to 893.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 64 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.58% or 0.47 to $80.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.51% or 0.44 to hit $85.51 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.86% or 18.50 to trade at $2,179.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.58% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 103.68.
