Chase Corp. (NYSE:CCF) +5.7% post-market Friday after The Wall Street Journal reported the specialty chemicals maker is working with financial advisors on a potential sale.
Chase (CCF) reportedly has received multiple bids from private equity firms including Pritzker Private Capital, a family-owned investment firm connected to the family of Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker and others, as well as other industrial companies.
Chase’s (CCF) market capitalization totaled ~$1.17B as of Friday’s close; the company’s revenues totaled $325.7M in FY 2022, which ended in August.
